the barbaric reality of lion farming

These horrific and gruesome photographs - obtained by Lord Ashcroft's undercover team - were taken by Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) officials after they visited Wag-'n-Bietjie, a co-called South African "eco farm" in Free State, in 2018. At the farm, more than 50 lions were slaughtered in two days for their bones and other lions were allegedly kept in cramped cages for up to three days without food and water. Two men are facing scores of animal welfare charges. The SPCA was acting on an anonymous tip-off.
